Description

Multiple hollow molars produced irregular, burning, tingling pains, with cold sensations on contact and throbbing when the teeth were pressed, especially when bending. Pain radiated to the throat, tonsils, glands, ear, and left temporal region, causing facial cyanosis and cold feet. After many failed remedies, a single dose of Spigelia provided rapid relief; a repeat dose was given after a few days when pain recurred.
